HPV genital warts will NOT cause a bent penis!
These warts are on the surface of the skin. A severely curved erection is caused by an internal hardening problem on the corpus cavernosum (usually).
The skin on the exterior of your shaft is so plentiful and flexible that you would have to get a MAJOR scar there to make your erection bend even a little.
Genital warts are caused (almost always) from the
HPV virus (human papillomavirus).
The bad news is:
"Once you get this virus from a sex partner,
you will have it forever.
There is no cure."
AND, you can transmit this virus very easily to any other sex partners you have thereafter.
HPV in women
can cause infertility and possibly cervical cancer. So it is no joke and nothing to be taken lightly.
And, condoms will not prevent the spread of this disease.
Random sex has become just too risky these days.
There was a time back in the 60s, 70s, and even the 80s, when the worst STD your could probably get was Gonorrhea or Syphilis.
At that time there was a simple shot that could cure Syphilis or Gonorrhea. (Now there are even strains of Gonorrhea that can not be cured. And it can be extremely painful on a daily basis.)
Problems with this virus were rare back then. Herpes was rare also, HIV had not yet become a threat.
You just can’t randomly screw around anymore
and expect to stay sexually healthy.
Worse, there are a number of current STDs that have no cure. The Human Papilloma Virus, Herpes, and HIV are included in this group.
Unfortunate, but true.
Tests are available for women.
However:
There is no test for this virus available for men.
Even if your warts have been treated and gone away, you can still be carrying the virus and you can still spread it.
You can even have the virus and come up clean when tested for sexually transmitted diseases. Yes, that's true.
That's really distressing also.
Genital warts are not the same as common warts.
Genital warts can be treated and made asymptomatic: without symptoms. They are no longer on your shaft.
BUT, there are a variety of types of this virus. And with some:
"even though you show no visible symptoms,
you may carry the virus in
your system forever."
And, as I already stated, you can still transmit the the human papillomavirus virus (or catch the virus) when no symptoms are present.
STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) are all too prevalent these days. And remember, some have NO cure!
Safe sex, the use of latex condoms, and often abstinence, has become more important then ever.
But, no STD symptoms, including the the genital warts from the HPV human papillomavirus, are the cause of a bent penis or Peyronie’s Disease.
Be Well.....
