Can Bromelain correct the bending from Peyronies Disease.
No.
But, it can do a lot of wonderful things.
Bromelain is another wonder medicine from Mother Nature's pharmacy! It is an enzyme found naturally in the stems and juice of pineapples.
This enzyme has been used for decades as a digestive aid. It helps people with poor ability to digest meats and other high protein foods.
Because it dissolves proteins, it is also marketed as a meat tenderizer.
It is one of the proteolytic enzymes (also called "protease" - protein digesting) that have been used in an attempt to correct a curved or bent penis condition.
But, will they actually straighten one? No.
Besides being a fine digestive aid, this pineapple enzyme has also been found to be a wonderful natural anti-inflammatory.
It's major benefit as an anti-inflammatory is that it does not have any of the adverse side effects so often found with aspirin, ibuprofen and other common pain medications.
In Germany this enzyme has been approved by their Commission E since 1993 for the treatment swelling, bruising, inflammation and pain after injury or surgery. It is one of the most popular supplements in Germany.
Bromelain has been used in many compromised health conditions which include:
When used for as a digestive aid, an enzyme is taken with the meal.
But, when used for inflammatory conditions, an enzyme is taken between meals on an empty stomach. This way it gets into the blood stream and is not used up digesting foods.
A high quality Bromelain supplement is usually very inexpensive.
Bromelain is another enzyme therapy currently being tried to straighten a bent or curved penis caused by Peyronies Disease.
It is often used in conjunction with other proteolytic enzymes such as
serrapeptase
and
nattokinase.
Unfortunately, this is a false hope and a very flawed theory.
The reason is: Peyronies Disease is caused by scar tissue that may or may not have associated
fibrous plaque.
Even if an enzyme therapy dissolved ALL the fibrous plaque associated
with your scar, the scar tissue itself is totally unaffected by the
enzymes.
Tough inflexible scar is the major cause of your erection bending. The plaque simply strengthens and stiffens the scar. So your erections will still be bending after enzyme therapy (18-24 months) 60% of the time.
The other 40% of the time, the erection will straighten itself out with no help at all in the same time period. So why spend all that money on the enzymes?
Most people who use this enzyme for digestion, inflammation, and pain have had only positive results.
But, people who are allergic to pineapple should avoid this pineapple enzyme. Allergic reactions may also occur in people with allergies to carrots, wheat, rye, celery, fennel, papain, grass, bee venom, birch or cypress pollens, and latex.
In some people, it has caused allergic reactions and asthma symptoms, including tightness in the throat, breathing problems, rash, skin hives, or itchy skin.
People with digestive disorders should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before using it. It should not be used by people with peptic ulcers.
As with all proteolytic enzymes, this enzyme can increase bleeding. The reason for this is that they dissolve the fibrin that makes blood clot.
For this reason people taking "blood-thinners" should consult with their physician before using any of them.
There are few things more frustrating or disheartening than spending a
lot of time and money trying to remedy a condition and not getting the
desired results.
Systemic enzyme therapy for Peyronies Disease using bromelain or any other proteolytic enzymes is a dead end.
If you want real proven straightening results,
correct traction
has still proven to be the Safest and Most Effective method.
As well as being medically endorsed and recommended in 29 countries world wide, correct traction is a very inexpensive way
to straighten a bent
penis.
